Did you get your free Schwan's?

Did you get your free Schwan's ? I ordered a gallon of chocolate almond ice cream. I have heard their ice cream is wonderful! I have never ordered from Schwan's and probably won't again since it's a bit too pricey for my budget. I'm very excited about getting the ice cream! It was only 8 cents after discount! They're giving away $10 worth of free food. It may be over by now but check it out just in case if you haven't already. So what did you all order? Happy eating!

My first REAL CVS Deal!

I did try this one other week but I don't think I got a good deal so I didn't post it. However, this week was different and I am excited about doing this more often. Now, since I'm new at this I messed one thing up and had to refund. Plus, there were no signs for any of this stuff so it was hard to tell which thing was the ECB's. I'm sure I'll get better at it each time. Signs being up would have helped as well. :) Here's what I got: 1st transaction: 2 rulers 1 school glue Pd with 2 ecb's OOP total- $1.06 earned $2.97 ecb's 2nd transaction: 3 pks of 8pk pens pd $2.97 in ecb's OOP total $0 earned $2.97 in ecb's 3rd Transaction: scissors pd with $2.97 ecb's OOP total- $0.02 earned $2.99 in ecb's 4th Transaction: scissors pd. $2.99 ecbs OOP total- $0 earned $2.97 in ecb's 5th transaction: 3 1 subject notebooks pd 2.97 in ecb's OOP total- $0 earned $2.97 in ecb's 6th transaction: 1 5 subject notebook school glue pd $2.97 in e...

Frugal Semi-homemade Pizza

I just have to share with you what we had for lunch today. Our local Kroger's had (and I think they still do this week) the Pillsbury Pizza Crust in the refrigerated section 4/$5. Then when you buy 4 you get an extra $1 off so you get them for 4/$4. But on top of that, our Kroger had those little coupons in the refrigerated section for .75 off three refrigerated products (excludes cookie dough). So that made them 4/$3.25. So about .80 per pizza crust. So we made pizza for lunch today. One for hubby and one for me and the kids. I would have taken a picture but my battery is dead so I have to wait for it to charge. So sorry about that. Here is a cost breakdown for the pizzas. 2 cans of dough $1.60 for both 1 and a half cans of tomato sauce (garlic flavored) .50 italian seasoning (just sprinkled it over the tomato sauce) maybe .10 3 cups of cheese $1.50 (this is on sale at a local store for 1.00 for an 8oz bag) mushrooms on half of one of the pizzas .50 (also on sale for $1.00 a pack...

Great deal at Food Lion!

I don't buy Pop Tarts a lot but I couldn't pass up this deal at Food Lion. At my local Food Lion they have Pop Tarts on sale for 3/$5. That's not the great deal part though. On the Pop Tarts with Fiber they have $1.00 off one box coupons. So that made them about .67 a box. So I stocked up. That's a great deal! Especially if it can save you on a busy morning from buying breakfast somewhere. They had strawberry and chocolate. Just wanted to share! God bless, Amanda

Awesome deal at the Dollar Tree!

I had to drop off my husband's prescription at Walgreen's yesterday. He started the sinus/ear infection on Monday of last week and his ear is still infected. So they gave him another round of antibiotics. The Dollar Tree is right behind Walgreen's so I thought I'd go look around while I waited for his medicine. I usually look down all of the aisles. You just never know what you may find. There sitting in the food aisle were Campbell's Cream of chicken and mushroom soups. The healthy request kind. That's all I ever buy so I was excited to find it for a $1 a can. It can be around $1.50 and I rarely find it on sale. I decided to pick up a few cans to have on hand. I do want to start making my own cream of soups eventually but thought this was a great opportunity to stock up. I'm sure items available can vary by location, but it just might be worth a trip to your local Dollar Tree to check. You never know what you might find. :) God bless, Amanda
