First Post!

Hi everyone! My name is Amanda and this is my first real blog. I am very excited as I have been reading a few blogs for quite awhile and decided why not have my own! :) So here it goes! Please bear with me as I am a total newbie.

I will tell you a bit about myself. I will be 30 years old on Tuesday. I've been married to my husband, Mike for almost 10 years. We have three wonderful blessings. We live in Tennessee. I love to cook. I like to try new recipes and love to collect cookbooks. I am mainly a mom and wife but I also work at mother's day out part time. You'll also find me working as a consultant for a kitchen products company (direct sales). That's my other part time job. :)

I do have a child with Hemi-facial microsomia. So you might see me mention that here and there. To learn more about craniofacial conditions you can go to
CCA is a wonderful organization for families with children that have these conditions.
